you know what. sometimes i don't really like myself...
i think that if i had myself as a friend, i wouldn't really appreciate me.
if i had myself as a daughter, i would definitely, definitely not appreciate me. its easy to fight with parents because it is so easy to make up- it is nearly impossible to not make up. i mean, we live in the same house! whereas with friends, i tend to not take them for granted, not as much as i do for my parents. friends are not obligatory, unlike family.
how cool would it be if we could sit on small pink clouds up in heaven with little laser pointers and go "oh, this one looks good... yes i think i'll take this mother..." while merrily pointing down at a particular earthling.
sadly it doesn't work that way.
but anyways, i might end up choosing my own family because i've got better than most people do, i think. so i shall try learning to treasure them, i know it's possible and it would be a Good Thing.
ohyes i think what my eema said abt being assertive is true, it is a good quality after all. i shall be assertive.
(yeah right, muriel manning is like the queen of wishy washy)
bah wells. today i once again find myself thanking God for my friends and praying tt i'd have patience with my family members.

1. June Resolutions (go jogging, get 15 points and below for EOYs, do homework, do qt regularly)
2. GO TO CHURCH EARLIER NEXT SUNDAY TO EAT MADAM TEONG'S NUGGETS! YUMMMMM!
3. practice piano and flute everyday
4. cg on saturday
5. shine for God always. witness to the *THAT person*
6. get pa's birthday present:/
