you know, i thought i'd seen it all, until today.
usually, at the lift lobby, the old folks get impatient, and so they start to pummel the lift button furiously, pace the floor in circles, try pressing all 3 buttons even though they, very obviously, serve the same purpose ie you press one, all light up. ALL IN PURSUIT OF A QUICKER ARRIVAL OF THE LIFT.
anyway, this old bloke today, was THE weirdest ever! he had this routine, in which he would flick at the button, touch his ear, then gaze around, then repeat to what I SUSPECT was, a regular rhythm. HOW PECULIAR. and when i got into the lift, he asked me WHERE ARE YOU GOING. i was like uhhhhhhhhh up! tenth floor! because thats what i presumed he meant. SO ODD I SAY.
anyway, i'm awfully tired, and i'm falling sick i think, i don't know why school always gets busy in waves. but thats exactly what i am now- busy. too many things to do, too little time to do them. plus kerryn and zai are flying off, all in the space of a week): and there's funorama too! plus plus alot of stuff! GROANSSSS.
i havent got down to blogging about my birthday yet, because the couple of times i've attempted to, i couldn't upload images. i think imma give up alr. too lazy, don't feel like it anymore! haha.
okay, gotta do lit now, BYE.

my first birthday greeting! hahaha yay denise, YAY!(:
okay, it's now wednesday night, and documenting the proceedings of my one week of holiday/BIRTHDAY WEEKKKK is proving trickier than i thought! haha i guess i'll just summarize the past 3-ish days.
monday, i had tuition, i fell down twice (converse and wet drain covers just don't go.), i went for choir, then supper with jowell, tania, nic and kenneth. and yan. and kerryn. somewhat. haha(:
tuesday! got pangsehed by a certain small gnome who failed chinese a's, and so had nothing do in the morning. finished my book and rolled around until i went to meet yan for crystal jade at 2. had choir, then MOVIE NIGHT(: yay! i like movie night! it was a pity marcus couldn't stay, but i still had fun with the remnant, that was yan nic kenneth and calvin. twas quite sad that i couldnt find my paddlepop during our 4am walk, but it was nevertheless quite an experience. i've never walked through town at 4 in the morning. ever. woke up at twelve (or chelff, if you prefer), and went to food republic for lunch. then home to continue catching up on my beauty sleep.
which was followed by DINNER WITH THE AUNTIES!! dear, DEAR auntie pf and eema eve, took it upon themselves to make this birthday memorable, and so they sekkretly planned for a SPARKLER to be placed on the dessert we ordered (some chocolate cake thing) and they SANG. omg! really loudly! wait, sorry, make that TRIED to sing! hahahah they were sooo cute and so much fun and may i just take this opportunity to say that I <3 MY AUNTIES BERRY MUCH(:

today i went out with lydia, and she is the funniest shit alive. seriously! ahhaha. special school RIGHT. anyway i had a great time, with my day beginning in church, then to town with lips for mos and canele, then ann siang hill (with the roadkill! ohmygad, it stank to high heaven), then central! I BOUGHT MY BAG! yayyyyy! and lydia is such an auntie, seriously, i've never met anyone who left an umbrella on a bus and actually waved and danced at the bus uncle to get him to open the door again. SERIOUSLY. haha but i love you anyway lips(:

the prettiest quote from The Leap Year. (which was surprisingly an EXTREMELY good movie. it didnt even feel local!) granted it was rather mushy and all that, but VERY SWEEEEEEEET.(: i like!
i'm so GLAD terms are over. but you know, all i really want now is to just RELAX. before i go out and have fun and all that, i feel a strong need to stay at home for a day, pack my room and read nice interesting books which aren't about sneaky duchesses and feminist worlds, and then i will be happier than ever. which is why it's going to be difficult to drag myself out to class chalet tmr, though i'm sure it'll be fun.
